Engagement models and how pricing works.
Three ways to work with us. Each one defines who employs the professional, who directs the work and what support Knight Shift provides.
Choose how to engage
Three models.
STAFF AUGMENTATION
Need one or two extra people on your team?
Professionals who integrate directly into your team. They work agreed hours, use your tools and follow your standards, under your team's direction.
You direct the work. We handle recruitment, onboarding and ongoing coordination.
DEDICATED TEAMS
Need a team for a workstream or a support queue?
A drafting and modeling team for your project load, or a service desk and NOC team for your operation, including shift rosters for after hours and 24/7 coverage.
You set priorities. We build the team, coordinate schedules and keep the roster staffed.
DIRECT HIRE
Want to hire the person yourself?
We source, screen and assess candidates against your role brief. You interview the shortlist and hire directly.
You employ and manage. We run the search and the assessment.

Who does what.
Pricing
What a quote depends on.
We do not publish a price list, because the same role can cost very different amounts depending on how it is set up. Cost efficiency comes from where the talent is based, not from lowering the standard of the work.
Request a QuoteQuote factors
The specialty and the tools involved.
The level of experience the work needs.
Business hours, after hours, weekends or continuous coverage.
Full time or part time, one person or a team.
Staff Augmentation, Dedicated Teams or Direct Hire.
Questions about models and pricing.
A quote depends on the role, seniority, schedule, dedication and engagement model. We prepare it once we understand the request.
They are agreed upfront and written into your agreement before the engagement starts.
Tell us if your needs change. Any change is agreed in writing and depends on the terms of your current agreement.
Not sure which model fits?
Tell us about the role and how your team works. We will recommend a model and explain why.
